***I am not an expert by any means, still learning, which is why I highly recommend Chris' channel, Blowout Professor. He has so much great info. And he is a professional. I just wanted to show how the routine has helped my hair type.

I used to have thin hair, what helped me so much to grow fuller, healthier hair is I stop bleaching it, and switched to one color in salon, trimming it often and now I can basically color my own hair. I get my product from beauty store. ❤❤❤

Thanks for sharing! I do think not bleaching it will make the most diff. Bc a lot of damage happens during that. And requires a ton of TLC. I’m letting it grow out and haven’t lightened it. I have a lot of growth at the roots but the ends I never rly took care of. So this rly helped me. Thanks for sharing your advice ❤️

I had that issue also and this routine rly helped my ends. Mainly a leave in conditioner on the mid shaft to ends and then seal in the moisture using an oil on the ends.

I have struggled just like you with super dry hair, especially the ends. I have also tried so many products an bought the Dyson airstrait, but after a month and only using the Dyson once week, my hair is yet again dry like the desert. My hair is naturally very volumized, but it just looks like a birds nest, so all I want is sleeker healthy shiny hair. I have just a tad longer hair than you and never been able to grow it longer. I have highlights in my hair. Will definately try this routine! Xxx Marit

Sometimes it’s all about finding the right products for your hair type and using them properly. I’ve never tried the Dyson airstrait but I do use the shark FlexStyle which is similar to the Dyson air wrap. I have found using the round brush as I blow dry gives me the most sleek results as opposed to simply blow drying. Hope you find a hair routine that works for you ❤️

Hi, that looks like a great voluminizer! and it’s great when going out, but not for daily use, I believe these products fill in hair pores and hair can’t breath in order to grow.

The color wow volumizer? Or the volumizing powder spray? I will say, that’s kind of why I don’t use dry shampoo as often (product build up on the scalp). I’d much rather wash it.

If your comfortable with sharing, how many strands do you typically lose in the shower/brush? I have a similar hair type to yours and I feel like I’m losing to much hair and it’s hard because I don’t have a lot to begin with

Enough to notice. I started noticing increased “shedding” about half a year ago or so. I tried switching shampoos and not using heat etc. And that didn’t change anything for me. It’s diff person to person but can be something internal (stress, diet, hormones, etc..). I used to use a scalp serum and just fell out of habit. I might try reincorporating it and see if it helps.

Have you tried hair vitamins and collagen? I use both. I have your same hair. I also use olapex. Less is more with that brand.
@TashVitorsky
@TashVitorsky Жыл бұрын
I heard the same that less is more with Olaplex. And yes, I have tried and currently have a collagen powder I like to add to my coffee. And also hair supplements. I feel like the supplements are helping my hair grow. But my problem is mainly the ends at this point. I didn’t take care of my now ends, when they were growing out.

Stick with the Color WOW line! I have hair exactly like yours (except no color any longer) still get breakage and this line of hair care is the answer. Stick with it and see the difference, I have well water and use the Dream Cocktail w/kale, it really,really helps breakage. I'm hoping for a spray shine added soon.

Have you tried minoxidil? Maybe it will help to grow and strenght a little more your hair 🤔

I haven’t but I looked into it. Once you stop using it, the effects go away. And it can potentially have side effects (as with a lot of things). But I haven’t written it off completely.

The dry, thin ends are one of the reasons I cut my hair when it reaches five inches. That way I don't have to do so much work, because we already have so much work as fine, thin haired girls 😂

Do you mind sharing if you’ve always had fine, thin hair or has it changed with age? You’re probably quite a bit younger than me but I’ve lost over 50% of volume in 20 years. It’s so depressing.😢

Yes, I’ve always had fine, thin hair. My mom does also and my sister. It is what it is sometimes. And sorry to hear sorry😕. It can be super frustrating and upsetting. My mom lost a lot of her hair when she was my age. It can be such an upsetting thing. Sometimes all you can do is the best with where you’re at and knowing your hair is not your entire identity.

Thanks for sharing. Just to clarify, the main difference you changed in your routine, to promote healthier looking hair was adding an oil to seal in the conditioning products ? Also Loreal makes the same acidic bonding product for like 8 dollars and it has the same ingredients.
