I know it sounds crazy and people who haven’t been there don’t or won’t understand. I did 20 years and I’ve sat on the same federal bus (U.S. marshals) with those same cuffs on . I’ve been home for 4 years now and I still remind myself of what I went through in there. My first year home, I had a book of stamps in my wallet. Looked at it from time to time to remind myself what failure would mean for me.

Counting the “ likes” and “ you know what I’m sayin” .. .. what hip hop has done for our community is fantastic. You can go to prison, make it out , have a testimony, rap about it and become wealthy. God bless this brother and his journey. There’s no excuses ( in America) for not being able to achieve your success.
