The way that I was taught to ring the tinsha is to grasp each tinsha firmly where the leather meets the metal. Then, tap together. It is easier and you dont miss. However, this isnt meant to be dogma. Have a fun, creative time with it.

The vibrato is from a tiny Doppler affect with The reverberating sound waves. They sound like static when the sound waves crash from each other, it’s a different sound. :) (notice a sound you can only hear with two, but not with one cymbal.)

That one Tibetan cymbal actually does have Sanskrit on it. It says Om mani padme hum (in Tibetan script). The other has a set of auspicious symbols, such as a conch shell, an endless knot and some others I can't see very well on my screen.
