Here is my take on finger drumming. I programmed Midifighter controller in Ableton and loaded some cool samples on it (Mad Zach's soundpacks mainly).

@@SteelerY360Nation it's a common fighting game technique I don't know what it's called in the music space but it's referred to as a triple piano tap. (Although on second thought since english isn't my first language it may be called something different and I apologize in advance in case I'm giving you the wrong name)

I think for a beginner launchpad is alright. Especially when it comes to mashups and light shows. However midi fighter buttons are easier to press which allows for a faster finger drumming.

I have a launchpad pro, and I think you should wait a few days/weeks until the midi fighter 64 comes out.

RoyaleKobble • Clash Royale if you have the money then the midi fighter 64 but for most people the midi fighter 3d works perfectly fine

Its a bit clacky but doesn't matter how noisy it is if you record audio internally via DAW

I used to be a novation user too until I get the midi fighter 3D. Buttons are way better, colors pop more, more portability. Overall way better.
