Thank you for naming the notes you are playing! I have found that to be a very uncommon thing with guitar tutorials, typically the notes are not named it's only the position given and the tab. As a person that already reads music it pulls it together and helps it make a lot more sense with that added bit of instruction. Thank you again.

i think the finger picking technique is sooo much easy then remember chords plus way more fun to play but that's my opinion. this song is the first one i learned when i picked up my guitar today for the first time. He is a great teacher.

Its one of the easiest, most impressive songs I know now. I actually play it a little different, but I learned your way first. You rock dude, my friend showed me your channel yesterday as I've started playing guitar again after lots of years of not doing so but wanted to try and learn a more fingerstyle approach to things. This was a really nice arrangement and the way you went through it with the tab and stuff made it very easy to learn in an afternoon when upon first hearing it I thought it might be really complicated to get my head around playing 2 melodies at once. My request would be *"Cemetary Gates"* by Pantera, but an arrangement with cool fingerstyle stuff instead of ever strumming chords (and you can miss out the solo) as I always thought that was a really beautiful song and think it'd be great to get to play and sing along using your kinda style. Not sure if you read comments on old videos, especially as I imagine you get a load, but figured I'd put it here anyway.

Tried to learn this back when I started playing years ago, couldn't do it. Started playing again recently and after a few days of practicing and remembering what I learnt a bunch a years ago, I came back to this and with in 2 weeks I managed to nail it. I think it may have had something to do with it being my girlfriends favourite song so the pressure was on lol. Great lesson, glad I came back to it as I kinda promised myself to learn it way before i met her anyway.

I really enjoy this type of fingering . At least you get all the effects of the song. It seems fairly easy. I would say the only flaw is it's hard to see where you are putting your fingers. I have a request, Midnight Special with the same type of fingering. Thanks so much for your lesson and I will keep practicing Stand By Me. Love that song!
