Wow! I'm loving Coach Finidi George already! He spoke so smoothly and confidently, even better than the last Portuguese coach, and to think both of them are not native English speakers. Also, Coach Finidi didn't dodge any questions. He gave direct answers to every question posed by members of the media. I believe we have finally arrived at the point where a Nigerian Coach can lead us to the World Cup, and possibly win it. I am very confident in this group of players. I hope Wilfred Ndidi will not get hurt anymore, because he was the difference between us wining AFCON, and coming in at No.2. If Ndidi was present in that squad, our midfield would've been able to sustain the pressure mounted by the Ivorian midfield, and even excel. So, all and all, I'm proud of the strides the Super Eagles have made within a short time after AFCON, and the choice of Finidi George as the interim coach, soon to be confirmed Full - Time Coach of the Super Eagles. Big Up Super Eagles! Big Up NFF! Let's go to the World Cup and show the world what we're made of. Up Nigeria!

Coach Finidi George is a very calm person. He knows the terrain (familiar with the players and knows our expectation). What Augustine Eguavoen (Nigerian Football Federation Director) needs to do is consistently put him on grade A Fifa courses. (Basically invest in him). We have best players in abundance (the problem would be the technical crew). Also, NFF must be careful in appointing his assistant or deputy. No distractions (Sunday Oliseh, Emmanuel Ammunike, Daniel Amokachi, Salisu Yusuf) must not be appointed

Yes, we know it's your first game in charge & first time the team is playing after afcon but you've got do all to get the super eagles back to her best ever ranking... I believe you should be given the head coach job on a łong term...
