Very interesting, so the cold water creates an inversion close to sea which inhibits the momentum transport from upper boundary layer to the surface. Makes perfect sense and something I've witnessed too in early spring sailing, where also sometimes the directional wind shear is absolutely crazy.

Ganz grosses Klasse, Boris,,,, Wir sind mit Dir und Eurem Malizia Team wieder in der Spitzenklasse der Hochseesegelei angekommen. Bei der sehr grossen Leistungsdichte vor allem der Franzosen seid Ihr wettbewerbsfähig und nicht nur das, sondern auch immer für einen Rekord gut - so Etmal 640 nm.
