Meg and Milo are best friends and they’ve said over and over again that there only friends besides Meg is dating someone already. When they said they were stuck together they didn’t mean in a romantic sense they just mean that this project was theirs together and that creates a special bond besides Milo himself has said over and over again that he and Meg are like siblings
