That has become a beautiful piece after the restoration. Now I would be afraid to ship it back. Packages shipped today remind me of the old Samsonite luggage commercials.

It's so satisfying to see it all back together, you must be chuffed 😊👌 I hope the customer can pick it up and drive it home safely 🥺I don't know if I could trust the post a second time 😔

Thank you Dave, yeah l’m pretty pleased for sure. It’s going to Pennsylvania so packaging might be as much a challenge as fixing it 😳.

When you make a repair, as you did to the rug. What do you use as an adhesive? Thanks looks great!

Hi Ashley, usually I use titebond ll, it’s a wood glue. But every once in a while super glue is just the ticket as with the rug. I had a good fit and plenty of glueing surface. I use SureHold-super glue.
