another tip instead of sharpie ink to transfer a mark to the other side. A small dab of toothpaste works well too.

How many magnets do you need to keep the pieces from separating? Do you have a rule of thumb for how many per inch? The one I am making has a faceplate i want to make detachable.

@TheGreatBooger3 жыл бұрын
Could you use a bump helmet chin strap to secure the helmet to your head better? Getting one of Villianous Props helmets to use in airsoft. So making sure it stays on my head I wonder if a chin strap would work along with foam.
@3DPrintedProps3 жыл бұрын
Yeah you could. I'd use a nylon strap and make a chin cap from foam or check out a helmet chin cap on amazon or at Dick's Sports. Good idea.

I have finished painting my helmet, I was wondering if I can find a way to send you a photo, to show you my first attempt. Now I am just waiting for my led lights to come, then I will start on the interior. I was curious on the magnets, the bit where you like the magnets but they look clunky, besides the look, would way still work well, I wanted to try keep it simple for my first attempt, because I am new with magnets :)
