yeah me too. i worked for an outfit called beaver lumber in canada. when they hired me it was to stack 2x4', 6, 8, 10 and 12. they came in varying lengths and had to be sorted into their own bins. they were piled in a shed and the bigger boards had to go to the second tier. we also had to pile plywood and trim wood. eddie's stuff is probably heavier and more awkward but i have a small idea of how hard he has to work.

The flag is a Michigan State Flag. It is showing the State Seal or coat of arms. One phrase on the flag in Latin translates to "If you seek a pleasant Peninsula look around you. Guess I really did learn something all those years ago in Elementary School !! :)

There are relatively cheap ($35 per unit) communicators you can get that are license free. Business band might take a registration or (I forget the other band name, maybe PCS? It is for personal area communications.) But put them on the lowest power and nobody will ever hear you. Tiny antennas so it won't snag. Put it in your pocket. What would be nice is bluetooth on it for cordless earphones. So for less than $100, you can probably get set up.

Good sawing and toting and the old sawyer/logger was bad to cut stuff into halves and thirds and have pieces flying all OVER the place and giggling watching us TRY and keep up with it all. I sure miss that old turkey but sawmilling is probably a good reason I'm still here. And draglining. Now I can creak, pop and snap and say there's a reason for it. Not like you and T.H.E. that'r still limber and fragile (agile was the real word but a pal sort of got it upside down). Mercy at the people that have put up with me. Hello Mark and Eddie. Another enjoyable video this week. Sorry to keep pestering you with enquiries, but I am really interested in how your mill is running! This weeks question is about lubricating the machinery. The log carriage, log turner, loader and conveyor are in constant use when milling, so how often do you have to grease the wheels, track, pivot points and cables in order to maintain their smooth running? How long does it take to complete that maintenance? I agree that it would be good if you had two way communication with Eddie! Best wishes to both of you and your families! Take care and Stay safe! Stan.

One of longest Videos yet, but better than watching TV, i was going to ask how wide a board can you cut before it hits the log ramp, but i see the board stack must go over the ramp. i like those thin boards i made a Lamp Shade once out of some maple, is was about 3/16'' thick, and i played with it for about 2 months and bent it round, before it split, so i clued it together in sections, $50 lamp shade with $2000 in labor.

What is the value of the sawmill? You are a company that manufactures the sawmill.

That's a State of Michigan flag. The motto means "If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you." (Note that it is neither a University of Michigan nor a Michigan State University flag.)

At the top of the seal, you will notice the words, E Pluribus Unum. These words come from our national motto meaning, From many, one. which means that our nation or country was made from many states. The word Tuebor means I will defend and has reference to the frontier position of Michigan. The State Motto is Si Quaeris Peninsulam Amoenam, Circumspice, which means If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you.
