Finishing the Koalas and a Spider! This is a video where I clean and powder coat some Koala Bears and a Spider! Today is Day 165 of the Metal Relic video challenge! The script is mine, the voice is AI's.
Today's video is mostly cleaning and powder-coating. As I've mentioned before, I go through a ton of wire wheels and brushes.
The koalas are very easy to clean which makes my job easier, since I used the clean as you go method. As for the spiders... They are easy, but more of a pain since there is a bit more to them. Those crazy legs need individual attention.
Once they are all cleaned up and prepped, I clear coat them with prismatic clear vision, bake them, and then let cool.
And as always, they turn out awesome. I am really happy with the quality of the powder. The clean as you go method doesn't work for the spiders as well as it does for other items.
