You are totally right, this is how it usually goes. However, I've seen some variations here and there: a German reactor adoring Käärijä's Rammstein tattoo (couldn't continue until he found out what exactly it was). Another reactor was totally in awe with Käärijä's physique to a level he couldn't concentrate on the music and performance :D

100% agree. He got the highest televote. Jury is definitely rigged this year, because, I mean, it definitely is just a coincidence that Sweden won to be able to host ESC on the year that's also ABBA's 50th anniversary. Just a coincidence, I'm sure. :D

🙂 Loved the look of confusion. "What did I just watch?" A live show. A lot of stuff happening, music changing, the atmosphere changing, everything changing, and it all happens accordingly to the song lyrics.

As a Finn when I heard this by Käärijä I was suprised...but perhaps Im getting used to being suprised in songcontest when finns are coming more and more..😉🐣 The Song has so strong, maskulin fighting spirit, but also full of funny, sunny and happy spectres of life. It's story about winning yourself without spirits and alcohol, without drugs. You may have your battle inside yourself and it's your duty to find out from there..but you will do it! Just to rely on It. The train will take care you of.. And the man gets upp! Sometimes with the help of others. At the end you dont't drink, champagne any more; you just dont't need it. You pour it on you and on the fellows with you, like on winning stage after formula competition. You will have fun of Life and you in It. This song includes many levels of deep feelings and narratives of finding yourself as a man - specially - but of course as woman as well. So skillful way of expressing so many things, in so short time. Playful, humorous, as well as strong masculin expression of feelings inside man - and the happy feminin end! Just let go and dance. Let IT go! The train will take care of you and carry you. This my interpretation and what I felt inside. Partydancing rapmetalgospel! Jesus loves you all! PS. But you have of course your own inspiration in you! This was almoust spiritual and religious experience. So full of Power of Joy!

Sweetie, I'm from Latvia, and I have heavy "Latvian English accent", plus I also have a heavy regional accent in my native language, which is Latvian. ;) So - no, I found out about Käärijä for the first time a bit more than a week ago, and I'm glad I finally did, he's my favorite, and I feel very disappointed jury made it so that an overproduced song won instead of the song people actually love. So - no. I'm always a 100% honest and truthful. ;) And, once again, from Latvia. :D Also, I have never been even close to Finland. Never been abroad. That's a another fun fact about me.
