Technically Tanjiro didn’t use Thunder breathing. It was the fact that thunder breathing was originated from sun breathing in the first place, in which case Tanjiro happens to use. Zenitsu said thunder breathing was putting all your energy and strength into your legs, providing that lightning fast boost, I presume. He could do that with sun breathing by adjusting the position of where he wanted his ‘strength’ to come from, again since all breathing’s originated from sun breathing. Anywho. - This and the past few videos you’ve made of this mini series are awesome!

Yeah, pretty much, since Tanjiro doesn’t use the attack he doesn’t actually use thunder breathing, so I guess you could call it faux Thunder breathing? Cuz baseline he’s using what is essentially thunder breathing itself at a more crude amateur level by altering his sun breathing (which is basically what thunder breathing is anyway, altered sun breathing)

Fun fact: For all the manga reader or people who don’t care about spoilers, Tanjiro actually used the transparent world to see hantengu in the demons heart and that’s how he even managed to find him, along with his great sense of smell.
