That is very comforting. The only large pistol primers I’ve been able to find are the Folchi. I haven’t shot them yet, but judging by this, I should have no problems.

Thanks Chris....... I just saw these at our local Runnings store the other day...... I didn't know Fiocchi made pistol primers.......thought only shotgun primers.

Good to know, nice that they are soft. similar to Federal. Harder primers tend to seat just a tad higher than I like in my progressive press, have to redo primer seating by hand (push em down all the way) in about 10-20% even after being careful to give extra force on press. I find DA revolver more of a sensitivity test, semi's seem to hit primer harder but that might just be my setup since you mentioned you tested on modified pistol(I assume lighter recoil spring). You probably addressed this in your previous primer test video.

Hey mate, quick question. How soft are the Fiocchi primers? I have been running Federals in my worked up comp revolver and I'm wondering if they are as soft as the federals?
