Emma Thompson, Fionn Whitehead, Director Richard Eyre, Author Ian McEwan & Producer Duncan Kenworthy attend the press conference for their movie The Children Act.
Plot: As her marriage crumbles, a judge must decide a case involving a teenage boy who is refusing a blood transfusion on religious principle.

This film is fabulous, and I cannot stop thinking about it. Emma Thompson has proven once again that she is a formidable actress and the young Fionn Whitehead is destined for a brilliant career. A must see movie that will leave you with hauntingly beautiful memories.

I can not wait to see this film...I wish we could have heard the questions. I love Emma's comet on us all as an adult have parental feelings. As an older woman who was not fortunate to have children, this is a very important observation and statement. I also love her finishing off an already opened bottle of water....that is er Scottish up bringing.

Excellent film. Emma Thompson is superb and deserving of at least an Oscar Nom. The young Fionn is proving himself to be a great actor. Just an opinion here. I think Stanley Tucci was miscast. He acts well, but...his character to me wasn't believable enough.

Has anybody noted that the press conference has solemnity of a court. Jokes aside, very thoughtful and informative. In particular, Richard's comment about differences between films and books is awakening. Two or three decades later from now, people would marvel at this video where giants of literature ( Ian) and cinema (Emma) are captured in a frame talking about cinema, literature and screenwriting.

She wasn't so parental with him want he kissed her. One can notice she was attracted to him. Even noticed it when he asked to live with her, she wasn't so surprised or alarmed until he said he was not going to get in the way of her marriage. It seems there that she was expecting something else.
