My hotel in NY had the exact tone and also said “Ladies and Gentlemen” and gave the same announcement we had been to that hotel two times and on Christmas Day 2017 and 2018 the fire alarms went off lmao

We had a false alarm at 4am in New Orleans. Just as we left the room they said to go back to our rooms it was a false alarm. Turns out they were doing work on the first floor and dust got into the alarms and tripped it.

+AppKerman That was stupidity on the workers part they have known about dust and debris setting off smoke detectors for YEARS should've covered the detectors

Marriott crystal shores, Marco Island fire alarms went off last year. I was there and was so confused, luckily it was an accident. ( some one pulled it)

+JTNortel I've never heard this chirp type sound on a voice evacuation system not to say it's commonplace in Canada but never heard it before this video and it also has a weird chime every time the desk clerk or the emergency/security manager makes the announcements

not always, i went to a hotel in hartford CT and all est pulls and smokes, but simplex alarms and evac

It’s an EST3 two-stage setup. The signals are those speakers you saw in this video.

in Dubai auris hotel the alarm is on and the hotel have no fire and and the and he say the alarm have problem 😢

This had to be annoying for you though trekkie778 since you were trying to watch a show on TV and enjoy a vacation and you had to endure this for near 10 minute timeframe assuming you didn't make any jump cuts or other edits

@@Exit911YT I know that, but what if a fire is blocking the door to the hallway causing the room door to be hot to where it will be dangerous to open the door or if it’s blocking the staircase since elevators cannot be used in a fire or a type of emergency that requires immediate evacuation

+Billy Salava If you look on the area by the ceiling on the left hand section of the screen you can see a round speaker. It could be an EST Genesis speaker but I can't tell
