Those are low frequency sounders. The LED speaker strobes don’t have the curves at the bottom.

Great video, was fun to watch! I still think Wheelock, who Siemens rebrands with their sync protocol, absolutely flubbed their low frequency sounders though. Those things sound way to raspy, and more like a broadband horn than a low frequency sounder

Cool video! It's so cool to see an entire system of LED strobes going off. Also those Wheelock low-frequency sounders will never not sound terrible in my opinion

What kind of low frequency sounders are the ones in the video?? They have a really unique sound to them and I've never heard any that sound like that before! Is there a reason they sound different or is that how they're designed? Either way they sound very cool!

It was some building that was almost completed in 2020, then was abandoned because of covid

I think it’s either some kind of medical extended stay type place (nursing home/physical rehab) or even a regular (drug and alcohol) rehab facility. The doors would have keycard or chip readers if it was going to be a hotel of some sort and those rooms are reallllly tiny to be an apartment building.

@@Tarantula_kidnot exceeders. It’s actually called Eluxa and it’s the newest generation A/V wheelock and Siemens provides. Note: Siemens has their own name for the rebranded eluxa devices but they are still originally called eluxa by the original manufacturer eaton wheelock. Plus you can tell that the pulse length on the led strobes are much shorter in comparison to the old exceeder models.

@@achannelwithnopurpose1977 To be exact: all the notification appliances in this video appear to be from the older LED3-series, which was the predecessor to the current Eluxa series & is no longer sold by Wheelock but _is_ still apparently made for Siemens & their systems.

Because the ones in the rooms are low frequency sounders, and the ones in the hallway are just regular horn strobes.

All devices are actually likely from the LED3-series given the strobe design, which is no longer made or sold by Wheelock but is supposedly still made for Siemens (which is what brand the system in this video is).

He’s an inspector. It is his job to pull them to make sure they are working properly. He has gotten complete authorization by the building owners and the local authorities.
