I think that the deodorant cans did not ignite because the rapid depressurization of the cans caused to liquid inside to become cold enough to put out the flames. This would likely happen again if they tried a propane tank. Check out the modern rogue. They try to blow up a propane tank with a bullet and have similar results.

Haley Waldrup no. You're supposed to throw flour on a fire. It only ignites if it's powdered. BTW never use water on a kitchen fire. Overall a terrible idea.

When i was younger we would thrown hairspray cans into fires and wait for them to explode from the heat. and when they did it was a like a bomb going off. Its a good thing those didn't light on fire because that ball of fire would have been dangerous from that close.

What this needs is a few lighters taped to stakes positioned around the impact. Figure out a way to light the lighters and keep them lit. When the flour etc blows out and contacts the flames it should light off.

You should drop a flaming anvil on cans of Aquanet hairspray. It's extremely flammable and the visuals should be spectacular.

I guess that's why they used dynamite to put out oil well fire. The explosion pushed out all the oxygen out of the area.
