Today's daily update video from South Africa is from 3 May 2024. In this video, we start with a fire in Upington, South Africa, which was engulfed in flames earlier today. A fire broke out at a business building on Scott Street in the early hours of this morning. The fire brigade was at the scene, working to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage to the shops are still under investigation. There have been no reported casualties.
We then went wine tasting at the Grille Shack between Gordon's Bay and Rooi-Els and ended today's video with a drive through Ysterplaat and Brooklyn in Cape Town, in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
