for PVE i would recommend IG Also in PVE i would use flurry instead of evade =]

omni evade isn’t available to put on the finisher but you should definitely take it on armour =]

Thanks ❤️ plague crits can be good but for sure we need jagged because bleed procs are giving us 15% more damage on that target because of the rapier passive (works both weapons), i also feel like anti heal defeats the purpose since they should be dead through burst if you calculate it right so it wont get much value in many situations but it is for sure a good option too in this meta I run 350 int 150 dex on fire staff and i run 250 int 250 dex on IG rapier =]

@@caniix ah I see that makes more sense, that has also crossed my mind since the rapier hits so hard in these builds 😂. One last question if you don’t mind, what are your thoughts on running fire harnessing on armor? Is it not good enough to justify using?

@@Rotten_Burrito you can use fire harnessing too i just feel like we are 50% empower capped alot of the time on fire staff and the 10% fire funeglass also counts towards empower, punishing 1% melee runeglass doesn’t count towards the empower and also it provides much more value in terms of damage once that 5% is consumed by finish multiplying 1.5x because of the 150% finish damage For my playstyle the firestaff is just poke damage and early burst but the finish is all my kill potential so i want that to be as strong as possible to ensure the kill when you do go for the combo

ive been testing all the new gems and i think i will take emerald in fire staff =]

they are both good but i prefer attuned pants just for range damage it feels better also the crit reduction from 150 con, featherweight is great too but i felt more tanky vs melee with that

thanks, you should use both since they are both intellegence it wont hurt to just swap one weapon out for the other. In 3v3 arena especially vs melee i think the IG is much better but when playing OPR or fighting range players i would take the fire staff =]

yes it still should not reach empower cap on rapier which is good, although i saw that the ring was removed from the PTR website so im not sure if it will even be for Season 4

@@caniix I did some investigations myself just now and I believe we are only using honing stone 7% Keenly emp 10% Shirking empower 0-10% Soon omni evade om armor 11% 15% tumblers (i use tumblers bcs i play sns+rapier)

​@@caniixDude, I just had a thought. The new artifact IG might be good instead of finisher. You can get better perks on rapier (like omni evade) and still get the 15% or whats the number on frozen or chilled enemies.

the fire staff is good in wars but the bleed spec isn’t, there are cleanse potions in that mode that nullify this build completely Still testing things for this season =]

@@caniix do you really think people would cleanse off bleeds when just 1 guy is attacking, and the burst is pretty quick to unload also it's way easier to predict it in arena or opr where you skirmish instead of swarm in wars, I understand your point tho ;)

@@molyporph1045 1 stack is not sufficient enough burst, and good players will definitely cleanse a potential 10k damage after getting hit by the first tondo but im not to say you cant play it in war =]

Hey I have one more question and I won’t bug lol your gear did u craft all that your self I’m new to new world trying to learn the game the jewelry as well trying to figure out if I need to be farming or crafting I got the finisher yesterday and I’m almost done getting the attuned pants

​@@savagetimezz1943I ain't Caniix obviously but will try to answer. Most of the gear he shows is crafted, so either he crafted himself, or bought from tradepost. BUT: you can get many good pieces from materia crafts (check Gypsum kiln and dungeon materia recipes; you can get a lot of materia from season pass boxes). For example, it is not too hard to obtain health+refreshing+enchanted ward pieces from materia, as Azoth Crystal set has refreshing + enchanted ward pre-set and you have a rather high chance to roll Health on it; Empress Zhou light set has Health + Refreshing pre-set and you have meh chance to roll EW/Elemental Aversion on it, however you can re-roll them at Kiln (need some resources though). One thing to note here is that Azoth Crystal/Zhou/etc. sets tend to have Magnify as primary stat, and if you go for a 350/150 split between INT and DEX you cannot have more than 199 magnify in your build due to how magnify works (magnify increases your current max stat). If you have more than 199 you will either waste stats or not be able to reach thresholds. 199 magnify limit means you can have 1 magnify weapon (38) + max of 5 magnify armor/jewelry(32) if you are not using Attuned pants, if you are it is 4 and not 5 due to attuned pants having 40 magnify. Then you put 150 points into DEX and a minimum of 151 (actually a bit more) into your INT for it to be enhanced with Magnify and bumped to 350. Then dump the rest into CON (probably want to get 102 CON and bump it to 150 with +48 CON banana food). If you have any spare points left after all these, u can go for 25 focus to reach cd reduction, but I did not do the math to see if there are enough points left after 350/150/150 (disregard this, not enough, did the math, leaving that line here for history)
