These are the old fashioned fore alarms from the 80's. They seem really loud and scary. All alarms these days are either voice evac, or horns sounding a code 3 pattern. The alarms at my elementry school in Providence, RI sounded similar, but not sure what brand it was.

They could be Simplex horns they have horns in Ackerman Hall at Iindiana University of Pennsylvania that sound like these and the building has the Simplex horns with strobe plates and the Simplex Break glass pull stations. The pull station you see in the beginning that he uses to trip the alarm is either a Notifier BG8 or NBG1R.

either a Siemens panel or a notifier panel beacuase i notice that Faraday horns are on the first floor and they sound like Faraday horns so it is a Siemens/Faraday panel

What Simplex horn was the Faraday 6120 rebranded too? The one building at IUP where I took my personal finance class my last semester of college had a Simplex system with the break glass pull stations and the horns made the same sound as the ones on the first floor but they were some sort of Simplex and they had the strobe plates over them with the triangular strobes.

You're telling me! We have white ones at my school (most of which are ceiling mounts), and once or twice they took me by surprise! Back in my elementary days, and some of my earlier middle days, we had Wheelock appliances set to Continuous (possibly E-70s, only one of which still possibly remains in the shop room) and at least two Harrington appliances (one horn/strobe set to Code-3 by the elementary entrance, and one remote strobe in the elementary computer lab).

We have spectralert advance ceiling mounts on low volume at my office and funny thing is, first few times I heard them go off I didn't think they were "that" loud... and then I moved to a desk where a ceiling horn is about 3 yards diagonally from where I sit -- First time they went off at my desk I described it as "EAR R*PE!!!" -- I literally felt my eardrum vibrating with each horn blast.... owie! :)

Ok you have Simplex 4903-9219's on the first floor in continuous and SpectrAlert Classics and Advances in Conde-3 on the second floor. What kind of set up is this the pull is a NBG1R made by Notifier but what is the panel?

Those are Faraday 6120s. Close but the alarms were made before Cerberus pyrotonics owned Faraday and before Siemens buying out Cerberus pyrotonics and Faraday. Sorry if I’m 7 years late
