Shara (or Rhajat) was written much better in the Japanese script, and I almost considered marrying her. Then I learned in the NA version she's a straight up stalker. Just...nope.

Most people here are wondering why Soleil isn't the lesbian choice and I'll actually tell you guys why in a full satisfactory way. Treehouse f***ed up with a TON of the localization in Fates (revealed by voice actress of Azura). They were so secretive about the project that the voice actors themselves weren't given clear directions and didn't know how to "act out" their voices for scenes. It's why we've got some terrible voice acting and some very awkward voice acting (ex. WE'VE GOT TROUBLE.) Soleil is one of the localizations that was changed, and in Japan she was NOT actually canonly gay or even attracted to girls. In Japan they have a culture where girls really love cute things and things called Moe which are cute and pure girls. Notice how in some of the localization Soleil still likes cute things like kittens and stuff. Anyways Fates probably could have been localized A LOT better.
