+giantWario That's not why people hate it. They hate it because it does not play like the old games. It has extremely stale gameplay (every map is just kill all enemies or kill the boss, no more defend this NPC, survive this many turns, protect the throne for this many turns) and they killed character identity by allowing you to change all of their classes into whatever you want as many times as you want. One of the coolest points of the old games which is now completely gone is when the "lord" characters/classes would class up and have completely unique classes just for them; they would even throw in some story to how they class up. I was really interested in seeing how they would write in the children from the future of the characters, but they didn't even do that. They were just extra mundane characters with no real reason to be included besides letting people see different hair colors of the children for the couple they shipped. The writing of this whole game was abysmal.
