The choice to change the screaming parts was great honestly. Those parts are my favorite in the original, but it’s hard to sing along to 😂

I'm so glad someone appreciates the change! I didn't realize how many die hard screamo fans I had in my fanbase 😂 It was a fun challenge to figure out melodies for those screamo parts without altering the original lyrics. So much more fun than just doing a carbon copy cover haha

LeeandLie screaming is hard to do on its own. The more melodic, sung parts fit perfectly. Music is versatile, not something you just need to copy. That’s what good covers should be right? Someone else’s take on the original?

I know some folks are gonna have things to say about the adjustments you made to the screamo parts, but I personally love what you did with them! It's another instance where you've taken an existing portion of a song and really made it your own! MAYDAY, MAYDAY, THIS COVER IS TOO HOT TO HANDLE!

I really love this version... I can't stop looping it! I love how coherent Amalee's is compared to the original and you can clearly tell she's really into singing this. Even without the screamo which isn't intended to be in her cover in the first place, there is still intense emotion coming from her voice. I just love the maniacal laugh too, it matches the lyrics well imo. If that was in the original I wouldn't have been able to tell tbh. I love both versions, they have the same thing to offer just in different genres of rock. I hope you all can see how good this cover is too despite some people's expectations of an exact redo of Mayday. Btw did you know Amalee is a voice actor too? And a damn good one!

I was just watching this show with my wife recently, and I remember telling her that I loved the second opening, but it would be much better in my opinion without the screamo bits. And then along came AmaLee. This is a great cover! I was listening to it all day yesterday!

Even though i love this song so much, I like how you changed the screamo part to fit your voice better, many people will hate on that but they don't know the pain that comes when you do incorrect screaming.10/10 cover🔥

Well, a lot of people didn't like the changes she and BrokeN made to the screamo portions in Mukanjyo so I won't be surprised if some of these same people have anything to say about the changes to the screamo parts here. But I love what she did with both. Also yes, effective screamo is challenging, to say the least.

@@kokoro_gospel I think the reason people didn't like the Vinland Saga op is two things. First her and Broken seemed like they were fighting over vocals, but that could also be a shitty mix. Second, Broken sucks at screaming in that style.

"why aren't there screams weh meh" - I don't like to listen to screamo personally - That's just my preference, so I created a version of this song that I'd personally listen to. I also will not jeopardize my voice by attempting to scream for a song. It's incredibly damaging if done incorrectly, and I've come close to severely damaging my voice in the past, and it's scary. Hope you can enjoy this song as a different take on the original (pop rock cover?) and not be set on hearing a carbon copy cover from me (We've had this argument so many times, guys, I don't know why you ever expect me to push out carbon copy covers when I can have fun and experiment and create something with my own original flair). This song is already in English. If you want an English version of the song with screaming ... listen to the original? haha

You don't have to scream for us, There are plenty who have the training to make a good version of that. I always like hearing your milky take on songs, and I appreciate that in this song you went just a tad bit deeper in notes than normal! I do like hearing that menacing little bit you sometimes do in the darker, grungier songs you cover~ keep up the good work
