Just crazy, it’s a God thing. I just watched J.R.’s story a few days ago. What a blessing he is and his story is so encouraging and brave. He is someone the young kids should look up to and aspire to be. I know it didn’t show the downside of his struggle to try to walk again and what he mentally endured, but the never give up attitude is something we should all inspire to do.

They killed 14 of Teddys fellow cowboys that sought to prevent the Cheyannes from their trek north to escape the tyranny of the reservation.What did Teddy have to say about that?He said if he was a Cheyanne he would have done the same thing.And boy could they ride!!! and shoot arrows!! Unfortunately they were forsed to run their horses to death in the escape.Warriors/scouts were sent bout ahead to procure food [cows] and new[fresh] horses. If you like horses and the knowledge of them you will love this book. Teddy was cowboy before tents. Before that f they got caught in the open by a hailstorm they took shelter UNDER their horse. They lived in the saddle!! Most had two horses to use everyday. Teddy Blue had one he used for river crossings.It should be required reading at Winnebago along with learning how to put a rope in a circle around your bed to keep the rattlesnakes away.And what is your bed? A blanket and you pillow the saddle. Whew those guys were tough!! So were the Cheyanne people.!!
