Fire Recovery is a sleeper hit in pure Fire Kings. Monster Reborn and Pot of Avarice in one card for Fire Monsters. It really helps in the late game if you have to grind out wins.

The thing about Fire Recovery is that while it's good you cannot guarantee to get it when you like. Cards like Sky Burn or Circle of Fire Kings can be played at 1 as a search for Ponix later on, and Garunix - Ponix - Kirin - Arvata already did an insane job for grind game. Sunlight Wolf and Duelittle Chimera can also retrieve Kirin back to your hand instead of the deck, allowing you to use its handtrap effect as well. A card's value is not only based on the effects on the card, but also how well it helps with the gameplan, mainly consistency. That's why people only play generic starters (Bonfire, ROTA, E-Tele, One For One) instead of generic extenders (Monster Reborn, Rekindling, Pot of Avarice).

@hongquanpham7322 I agree that not being searchable makes it less desirable. Sometimes, i do want Kirin back in the deck. I also like that the card recycles fire extra deck monsters, just in case you need it, especially if they are banished. It helps in the Snake Eye version to a certain degree as well, with Ash being at 1 now.

@@blgarrett77 You could absolutely play it if it suits your playstyle! For me, I think the card is a bit redundant in Fire Kings due to how all the cards prefer themselves in the grave, and they can already summon back on their own. There's use for it if Princess get banished, but personally rather than playing a reactive card, I prefer cards that are more disruptive for my opponents (handtraps) so that they can't even banish my Princess to begin with, or just utilize other cards in my Extra Deck to make different plays.

Playing pure Fire Kings without Circle is interesting. I find the card to be really good offensively to push for extra attacks during battle phase, but also defensively to dodge effects that would banish monsters on the field or in the grave.

I'm still working on ratios, but I tried injecting a small Fire King engine in my Infernoble deck. With a crazy starting hand, my end board is all zones occupied with cards in hand and graveyard as interruption as well

This deck is just so confusing so hard to follow… with what to pop when what to activate when and why it’s annoying… modern yugioh is fucked this needs a massive nerf… What I would love for you to play Dkayed is the best version of Horus the most competitive the most optimal non stun version as that’s a user friendly deck package to play
