The Heavy Rescue Unit and Support Pump (WS52P1, WS52R5) from Ely Fire station in West Cardiff are seen turning out to a water rescue incident in the Llandaf area of the city involving children swept away in the River Taff, in which sadly a child lost their life.
Also featured in the video are other emergency vehicles responding using lights and sirens, including the BRAND NEW 2022 Fire Engine based at Whitchurch turning out, police cars marked and unmarked from South Wales Police, including a New 22 plate Volvo RPU car, and a few Ambulances, plus the Great Western Air Ambulance taking off from The University of Wales Hospital in Cardiff.
Also notice the Fire officer who meets a police car while responding in opposite directions!
