Cruise news today. On Tuesday afternoon, a 'small fire' aboard Icon of the Seas caused a brief power outage while the ship was docked in Costa Maya, Mexico. Carnival Corporation has reported a profit of $92 million for the second quarter of 2024, marking a major improvement from last year's losses. The Port of Seattle has approved a 10-year docking agreement with Carnival Corporation, covering Carnival, Princess, Holland America, and Cunard. Cruise line stocks for CCL, RCL, NCLH, and VIK.

Mornin' Doug! It would appear sold out cruises and higher prices are here for the foreseeable future. Good for the cruise lines but, if everyone is going to be sold out, less incentive for lines to compete on service and customer experience.

No more Carnival for me and family I’m so disappointed in them! Carnival Venezia overbooked they don’t have enough either staff or room to do dinner on time!!! We did reservations at 6 we got called in for dinner at 9:20 I have a proof too it’s just wrong!! Have to do reservations and wait for this whatever they serve for dinner it’s the same stuff in buffet 😭 how sad?!? And dinner if you want steak you need to pay extra ladies and gentlemen!!! There is no area for children who are not potty trained can’t even wear swim diapers it’s just very cruel because they are special needs children who want to splash in water just no area 😢 Tell me how I ordered with my mother fried calamari paid $8 each it comes with fries waited for it 45 min and they were over fried didn’t taste fresh and next day buffet had it for free 🤦‍♀️ I mean that sounds like a rip off to me Not many choices in buffet either :/ What got me sad and angry at the same time I get it they need to make money of you somehow but this was just pure evil and wrong pictures time I had around 35 pictures and guess the prices for 25 pictures DIGITAL ONLY (no prints) almost $500 so I took 12 pictures DIGITAL for $235 it’s still a bank I asked if they have better options guy manager named Moti was straight up an unprofessional person there I will never take this cruise again the only good thing was the islands and the person who cleaned take care of our cabin
