These pens are like the Frixion one. They react to heat/cold: you can "erase" them by friction, using a warm iron, putting the paper under the sun,etc. The ink NEVER LEFT your paper. Just put your drawings in the freezer and you'll be amazed!

We have PILOT Pens in Germany. The Frixion series works like that. :D I use it to sketch for watercolor, because they are waterresistend. And after my painting is finished, I blow dry my lines away xD

When I saw the image burn of the last drawing I was thinking that it was more of a tragic story of the two of them fighting to the death then it flashes back to when they were best friends playing thinking about their future. (Potential UCD material right there)

These are basically the same thing as the Frixion pens that are “erasable” as it’s just heat reactive. Those pens will do the same thing, in case anyone is interested.

Gonna be honest here Jazza... did not read it as “PENS” the first time

The first time I read the title I thought, "Wow he really isn't kid-friendly anymore."

This are literally just the erasable pens where you use rubber and friction to heat up the ink.. it turns invisible due to heat and everyone thought it was so cool in school.

Erasable pens "erase" due to heat and can actually come back when put in the freezer or pouring liquid nitrogen on it. the King of Random did a video on this recently, it was really cool. It would be cool to see what you would do with that

TKOR posted a video about those pens recently. These are those pens that you can erase with the back of the pen. You can bring it back by making it cold, like putting it in the freezer.

In Germany we have pens of that sort, too. The are called the pilot frixion and are availabe as ballpoint pens, highlighters and normal felt tip pens. The special thing about these pens is that they have a rubber at one end and if you rub it over the ink it will create some heat due to the friction and erase it. Therefore those pens were really popular in schools because they combine the benifits of ball point pens and erasable pencils but had to be banned from exams because on some occasions, the ink dissapeared after the exams if it was exposed to heat ( for example in a warm car in summer) and therefore the papers couldn't be graded. The ink of our German pens however, can be restored if you store the paper you wrote on in the freezer for an hour or so.

The happy to sad was the most impactful for sure. But, honestly, the transition of narrative and storytelling was really interesting. Almost like one of those 3d posters where the scene changes based on the perspective. Tee last piece you made would work really well in that format.

The 3rd transition you did reminds me of my two year journey from major depression, not wanting to be here staying in bed for over 5 months a huge lack of self care. To now after a long journey to wellness with dr appointments, a lot of therapy, mental support & mindfulness work. The best I’ve ever felt ever in my 33 years here. I use these for marking on fabric when I sew. as soon as I've stitched it, I press the seam and the iron gets rid of the mark. it's awesome :)

I have a journal entirely based around this, it comes with the right pen, and once you fill out the journal completely, you can microwave it and it erases all of the pages so it is like a fresh journal

The king of random did something similar. But they broke open the pins and painted with them, then used liquid nitrogen to bring back the ink. Tkor proved you need something colder than your freezer to bring the art fully back. You should watch the video.

You have to stick it in a freezer or use liquid nitrogen to reactive the ink. It won’t go back at normal room temperature for a reason

The King of Random did a similar video with disappearing ink, the ink becomes transparent with heat but the ink can be visible again with freezing it or pouring liquid nitrogen. I really love your artwork, its so creative and I always love to watch your videos.

Fun fact about those pens. I'm pretty sure the rubber part on the back of it is an eraser. The friction produces warmth and that causes the ink to dissappear. So you can make mistakes and erase them.

Holy crap! My art teacher was ahead of his time. Every time I showed him my finished art, he always told me I should burn it.
