Yes all are work in the same way. But when you use Facebook login, you need to use Facebook developer tools

May be you have redirect the user before saving data into database. Or check your DB submitting function working properly, if it work then redirect the user using your code

I think you haven't created a firebase app yet or you have linked the wrong API form the firebase

make sure you have added the right email. first you need to register one email in the firebase. if you still have the error, i recommend you to watch the video again and start with a new project

Thanks for the comment and I think your app main issue is data was not saving on the Realtime database when signing up 🤔. I’ll provide few solutions for this: 1. Make sure your redirect code typed after the saving data to real-time database 2. Try removing the alert function 3. Some times it takes few seconds to save data on realtime database. Your redirect code might break the saving function. Then use a sweet alert (loading box) while running the data saving function(on realtime database).

@@InfoTechWARforCoding hello again, let me give more detail, everything worked fine, I was able to sign up and the data was saved to the real time database when I clicked the button. Once I added window.location = 'abc.html' right above the alert function, the user was still created in the authentication but the data was no longer being saved to the database. I only want to redirect the user from the sign up page to another file once they submit button is clicked.

I am sorry to here that issue. i also have not exact idea about this issue. try with console.logs() and changing codes. if this issue still there, try to update the realtime database in the redirected page(after signed up).

i removed the var username part and tried registering a user , but i did not got an alert message and neither was my user created
