I Built a LEGO Droid Army in 7 Days...

I set out to try and build the biggest droid army I possibly could in just one week. Each day I found droids from different places and tried to get as many varieties of LEGO droids as possible.
I finished up with 4 crab droids, 10 droideka, 19 super battle droids, 4 commando droids with one captain, 3 assassin droids, 87 B1 battle droids, 3 Droid Commanders, 4 Pilot droids, 7 geonosis droids with one commander, 19 Kashyyyk droids, 4 rocket droids with one commander, 1 buzz droid, 2 dwarf spider droids, 2 armored assault tanks, one homing spider droid, and 2 droid gunships. At the front of the army I had General Grievous with a TX-20 Tactical Droid, a Magna Guard, and B1 Security droid.

By the end it looked really impressive, loved the droids flying in the air on the display. Only thing you’d want is another magna guard

LEGO is a hobby where people come and go, so it's nice to have ways to get the missed models later as you've done. Would you mind letting us know how much it cost to get those minifigures and kits you've acquired in this 7 days?

Next time I do a video like this I’ll be better about tracking, but here’s what I remember off the top of my head: Droideka came out to about $3.50 each. $50 per droid Gunship - all brand new pieces and stickers from bricklink. Bulk purchase of 36 B1 droids from a friend at $1.50 a piece. Dwarf spider droids came from AT-TE sets. Homing Spider Droid was parted together on Bricklink for $18. Im not sure on the cost of the crab droids since I would have to go through multiple bricklink orders and add a bunch of things together to figure that one out. Most droids from Bricks and Minifigs and DNA Brix landed around $2-6 each depending on the type of droid. Hopefully that answers some of your questions! Again, next time I do something like this I’ll be better about tracking things :)

I still have a large collection of lego droid and sets. I dont do much , or anything at all with them any longer though. Would ebay be the best place to pawn them off or are there better sites to sell on?

Nice work man! My favourite part is definitely the homing spider droid, I feel like a lot can be done to attack the legs, leaving SO much room for creativity.

You managed to make quite an impressive droid army. I too missed out on a lot of great Clone Wars and therefore droid sets. I'd really like to have a Lucrehulk-class Battleship or the Invisible Hand in LEGO form, though I don't think those ships are currently prominent enough to make these at the right scale and price point. Something more attainable would be a Droid Troop Transport, which is also ideal as an army builder. An MTT would be great as well, although I prefer the Trade Federation color variant of the MTT over the blue and grey one from the CIS.

That end army is so cool! Just getting back into lego SW and those new Droid gunships look sooo good! Also yes we need a new MTT I've wanted one since I was a kid but never got one

First time seeing one of your videos and absolutely loved it. I just got into the Star Wars legos again and wanted to build clone wars MOCs. I had no idea where to start and this video was 100% what I needed. It gave me so many ideas and I never thought to order the single pieces of out dated sets or other Mocs which is brilliant. Now I just need to build my collection more and make some large brick by brick purchases. But again absolutely loved the video keep up the amazing work please I need more inspiration.😂😂

I agree that the MTT in blue is desperately needed. I wouldn’t mind a new Hailfire droid in blue or even a legends design like the HAG-M Tank or the Droid fighter tank.

hey man i know its a far drive from you but groovy little toy shop in Amherst Ohio has a really good selection on Lego ! I go there occasionally for opened box sets and prebuilt sets (i buy them cause they're cheaper then new sets and i work 60 hours a week so I don't have a lot of time to build sadly) they have a 6/10 minfig selection with a build your own fig area that has some nice parts !

Yeah seems like small detachment for a small operation for that might be small bit longer than a land go to take an hour or 2 in and out maybe for about a few days. That or in his infinite wisdom grievous got mad and smashes some B1s. Overall definitely impressive
