The firecats weren't tripple piped. Only single and twin. The F7 firecat is a twin. The F6 is a twin and the F5 was a single.

The bulkhead was cut and rewarded for the PTO cylinder. The hood beak was raised and hollowed out to fit the pipes. Im sure there was some mount fabrication, but we got it already built. Sounds sweet and rides well.

Yeah, That's what makes this thing unique. The previous owner transplanted a ZRT 600 triple triple with a few mods into the Firecat Chassis. It has good pulling power along with the sweet sound of a triple piped triple. It may not outrun a stock F7, but sure sounds sweet!

We purchased it this way, already done. I know there were modifications done to the bulkhead to fit the 3-cylinder heads, and the hood beak was hollowed out underneath for the pipes to fit. The rest of the chassis is Firecat. The piped were D&D performance made and cut for this sled.

I would be the 700 lay down twin and the zrt 600 have very similar power with 700 having more hp, the triple should out run any 700 on long run,

The surface area is closer than you think. 121X15=1815. (Standard at the era) 128X13.5=1728. (Firecat) The Narrower and longer track on the snopro did great with 800cc mod engines. Pulled a lot of holeshots, the track grabbed more aggressively.

Samuel Rönnqvist The electrical system is entirely from a ZRT. The engine was from a 1996 ZRT 600, no speedometer on it, as the factory Firecat electronic speedometer wouldn’t work with the triple. A man in the northern lower Peninsula of MICHIGAN in the USA with the nickname Special K (can’t spell his last name) put it together in 2006 or so out of a bunch of parts. This video was shot on a warm spring day about 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 5* Celsius. It’s a runner when it gets really cold, I can come up with some pictures for you. It has a set of D&D triple pipes with lightweight resonators on it. No air box, so we have to watch snow dust.

Ok first of all artic cat is powered by suzuki, suzuki is not a ZRT motor. Even the brand new artic cats are still powered by suzuki. So explain this i bought my F7 firecat brand new still in the crate, which i still have, then why does it not say FZRT... It just says F7... Like this guy has on his in the video. His says FZRT.... They dont come factory saying FZRT....
