If it were found to be predetermined or if one of the fighters doesn't put forth a legitimate sporting effort to win the bout, one or both are subject to criminal charges under both state and federal jurisdiction. The State of Texas would definitely investigate and bring charges as it would discredit the State Athletic Commission. Making them look like fools and being detrimental to the State hosting title fights moving forward. Texas is trying to establish itself as a fight State alongside Vegas (NV) and Atlantic City (NJ). So I say still withholding the slightest skepticism, that we will actually see a full effort bout.
