Wheeling Firefighters, and firefighters in general don't like to think of themselves as heroes. They are simple people just doing their job. But to the citizens they help on a daily basis, they are heroes and every response, while it could be their last, whether providing emergency medical care or putting out a fire, has a positive influence on the person they are helping. We, citizens are grateful!
