Firefighter 'Unaccounted for' Following Four-Alarm Fire

Жыл бұрынErie County’s Executive Mark Poloncarz said one firefighter was “unaccounted for” after battling a four-alarm fire in Buffalo.
Footage live streamed to the Buffalo Fire Department Helmets and Hose Wagons Facebook page shows firefighters ducking and running away from the area as a large explosion occurs at the fire site.

A backdraft or explosion isn’t gonna give any firefighter PTSD 😂 if it does, you shouldn’t be a firefighter to begin with. You ever been on a fire squad? Those guys are always competing to put out a fire in a burning building. Shits fun

@@TrainsForever I’m a marine firefighter in charge of a fire attack team. I was trained by land based firefighters and I have a few land firefighter friends. Similar concept, but also very different kind of firefighting. Either way we all a lil crazy, no completely sane person would want to be that close to a raging fire haha

El problema no es salvar el edificio, sino salvar lo que está alrededor, minimizar los daños, se imaginan si no lo apagan o lo controlan?....fui Bombero voluntario, al final es la satisfacción de un buen trabajo, pero gracias por la preocupación, es y fue un honor hacer esto.

I have so much respect for firefighters. My dad was one as I was growing up and was promoted to Asst. Chief when I was in jr. High. We had a scanner so could hear Dad directly his men. My dad was truly a real hero to me. RIP, Dad (and amok, too) until we’re reunited again. ❤️😇❤️😇

Sadly actors get much better incomes than the workers the public depends on but criticizes. Places keep cutting budgets for essential services but actors whine that the million or so they’re getting for their role is unfair wages. “SMFH”

For those wondering what may had happened, the water they were spraying onto the store probably contacted an isolated fire in a metal room or metal box in the building, upon the water contacting the flame which was probably more than 1000-f + it vaporized the water and made a big kaboom as seen in the video. Its a bit more complicated than what i said but its a scary thing to know when fighting fires
