The defense team essentially testified in this case. Alot of their "questions" weren't meant to be answered, they were intended to get out Karen's truth.

This defense attorney is exposing the Canton Police Dept. I hope they are held accountable for their obvious coverup.

She has connections to the Alberts and McCabes. She should not be allowed to over see this trail.

I think the systems overwhelmed with too much crime. Not enough competent people exist to be good police, attorneys, and administration.

I'm in Europe too. Although this is truly sickening, the good thing about the USA is that freedom of speech is second to none in the world and it's people know how to use it, as all these youtube videos are testimony to, which gives hope to it's people. Look at the scrutiny that even the judge is rightfully being subject to! Life is not perfect in Europe either. Money and power is dirty wherever one is on this planet!

@@just1mikala923 I'd have to rewatch this video. Its when the defense is playing the video feed from the morning Johns body was found - & Karen Read is speaking with I believe an EMT... Note I had head phones on- might have made that much difference. But yeah Karen did say she left her boyfriend, & then she went on to say- but he never came home.

I get the feeling that the first officer is very uncomfortable lying for his buddies but yet, determined to continue with "the plan" even though he's obviously struggling within himself to support the cover-up. This Judge makes me sick! I hope she gets hell from her Community and her superiors for her part to support the cover-up. She should not hold the position of a Judge, especially not overdee any Criminal Cases. On the other hand, I LOVE this Defense attorney!!👍 It's just unfortunate that Karen has to pay out of pocket for his representation, which I'm sure doesn't come cheap I hope every one of the lying witnesses pay for their crime!

The judge is “Auntie Bev” to the Albert children. She has close ties to the officers involved in particularly the Alberts who owned the home where John O’Keef was murdered, likely by one of the officers or Collin Albert.

Not necessarily. Cross examination is usually limited to questioning only on issues that were brought up in direct examination and if the judge finds the questions as “going nowhere” or being drawn out they have the discretion to wrap it up. The questioning is usually single-subject and requires yes or no answers and it shouldn’t last too long, but there isnt necessarily a time limit

It really is as if the prosecution’s trying to raise a reasonable doubt that Karen Read is innocent. “It’s not impossible for her to have done it!”

@@johndevlin Prosecution really hasn't done in anything significant in way of offense.... They have been spending the majority of their time playing defense.. The big problem with that is Brain Albert & his clan our not on trail for Murder, Karen Read is. Which simply tells me that the prosecution 1- has know real case against Karen... And 2 - that they most likely have a pretty good idea at this point in time -who actually killed John O'Keefe.

The corruption has been *_displayed on a silver platter_* What do you think is better for the Boston Police Department - having John O’Keefe’s killer be a highly respected fellow officer who appeared on TV shows & solved the Boston Strangler mystery, or having it be the "drunken girlfriend?" Who'd be better at getting a body from his house to the lawn w/o being noticed than Brian Albert, a Boston PD "surveillance expert?" He knew he could use his family connections w/ the Canton & State Police to keep them from asking him probing questions, taking pictures of his face/hands, or doing any investigation into his family. He knew police would normally search his house, which is likely why he made phone calls that night at 2am - to make sure it never happened. He could have disproved that by handing over his phone, but he _destroyed it after being court-ordered not to!_ Witness Katie McLaughlin (a Canton Firefighter/Paramedic) graduated from Canton High w/ Caitlin Albert in 2014. When the Defense brought up photos of McLaughlin socializing & being in the same friend group w/ Caitlin Albert, DA Lally objected to the jury seeing those photos. Judge Cannone sustained. This jury is being deprived of any knowledge & evidence of the many ways in which the Alberts had their hands in this investigation. *Kevin Albert, Brian Albert's brother, arranged Katie McLaughlin's interview* w/ MSP Trooper Proctor _AFTER_ Canton PD was expelled & Massachusetts State Police was assigned to investigate instead (due to a _conflict of interest_ with Kevin & Brian's relationship). Kevin was conflicted out & then spoke to the witness - which could be called "witness tampering!" This is the _ONLY_ witness who claims to have heard Karen say she hit John, and she happens to be biased - yet the judge doesn't want the jury to know that! In fact, she prevented them from knowing it, and they must instead infer the truth solely from Jackson's unanswered questions of McLaughlin as to who arranged her police interview. This is a violation of Karen Read's rights & prohibitive of a fair trial.

Let’s not get carried away. Not overtly lying (though, “I hit him” might be questionable, who knows?) isn’t exactly setting the bar high.
