1. To those wondering, Flames Afar (the purchasable 4-star Destruction LC) isn't good on her since its DMG increase buff does NOT affect Break damage. This is one of those cases where the art doesn't correspond. :( 2. E1 or S1? Again, both are very unnecessary, but if you reaaaally want to, and assuming you have Ruan Mei already, I'd first consider E1. The QoL of her being almost fully SP neutral opens more comfort and flexibility in teams/rotations on top of the DEF ignore's damage increase, it gets you closer to E2 if that's something you might want in the future, and those are potential Gallagher eidolons to pull if you want them. However, E1 can cost you much more jades than S1 (limited light cone banner is a 75/25 chance vs character banner's 50/50). Having her S1 also means at least you don't have to yoink Aeon from others. Ultimately, there's still an "it depends" / personal preference factor. 3. Where to farm the new Forge set? Finish the Divergent Universe tutorial to unlock it and the quick farm mode.

Harmony MC seems beside that like a very good unit overall. Thank Hoyoverse for that, Destuction MC was "okay" and Physical was even worse than most MCs in Genshin Impact. :D

Amazing guide, as always! I wanted to mention that for people who have ruan mei and firefly and are considering just getting firefly's E1, ruan mei's E1 could be a better option since it gives 20% def ignore to all team members, and you can slot her in more teams. However, if you are using firefly in a SP hungry team, then her E1 has more value

I'm using Clara lightcone on her, should be around 95% of S5 Aeon. I was devastated when I got a duplicate of it from standard as it is useless for all my other destruction characters, but as a giant ATK stat stick it works just fine for Firefly!

I'm thinking HMC - Memories, RM - Meshing Cogs, Gallagher - Multiplication, or HMC (E6) - DDD, RM - Memories, Gallagher - What is Real (or QPQ but that's kinda situation specific)

Thanks for this guide vid, Ms.Sevy! I'd like to ask for help on Firefly's equipment build if the player cannot unlock yet the Traces that use a World Boss item. Also, if the player is unable to reach the 200%+ Break Effect, is it okay to stack on Crit values to make Firefly a bit balanced? I'm at lost if Firefly should still rely heavily with Super Break dmg when there are troubles on getting high Break Effect. Thank you.

In your opinion, do you think it would be more worth it to get firefly or jade(both e0s0) I do have ruan mei, but i also have blade(no jingliu) who I hear is just as good with jade as he is with jingliu. Im really having trouble deciding, and i would love your input. Thankyou!! :)

Hi! I think if you're that unsure, you could wait for the week before jade releases, since some early guides and impressions should be out by then which might help you make a more informed decision. :D But, if you do pull for firefly now and since you have ruan mei, that's going to be a really good choice nonetheless, and that's one DPS that you can rely on to make your Break team.

I want to Thank Sevy for not gatekeeping like most of the other CC's who have been stating you cant use FF without RM. But.. Does anyone else find it odd that Ruan Mei is on the same stage banner. It feels like a bait. So many CC's stating she is mandatory for FF and pull RM first. I agree Ruan Mei is a good unit but.. I feel like Hoyo is doing this right before mentioning a better option.

I just got Firefly with complete traces since I prefarmed, fall of eon light cone but only +12 relics, BUT WHAT REALLY SURPRISED ME WAS GALLAGER DOING A 110+K Damage on his ULT on the team with MC and Ruin Mei >_< that is insane damage for a HEALER... ON A SINGLE BOSS TARGET, 100,000 ult for a healer, just insane

What's the FF's optimal BE threshold for outside of battle assuming traces maxxed, FF would be in Ult form with Kalpagni and fire weakness applied, HMC would have her Ult in effect with Watchmaker set, Ruan Mei on team? I can do the FF's attack conversion to BE myself.

A quick question: I have e0s0 Firefly and E1S0 RM. Should i get RM's lc? I already have s5 MOTP and another s4 MOTP i use on HMC so idk if it'd be that big of a difference. But i do love both dot and break teams which could benefit from it

I'd love Firefly but also Ruan Mei, I wasn't playing the time RM came out hence I don't have her. I probably cannot get both so who'd you suggest to go for? I am at 50 rolls for Firefly rn as i tried to get Boothill, but lost my first 50/50 and lost him aswell. I have 0 rolls on the Banner RM is gonna be. I am tending more towards RM since I don't rly have a Break based team build and I know RM in general is just good in every team. But I am really unsure. :( Thank you for your always amazing guides!

Personally, I’d recommend RM for two reasons. 1. She’s a broken and versatile support. Firefly being a DPS means she’s more likely to be powercrept in the future (not guaranteed, but may happen). 2. This is RM’s first rerun. Her second rerun might take place ages from now, whereas Firefly’s first rerun will likely take place before the end of 2.X patch cycle.

I think for the gallagher auto ult depends on wether you have harmony mc on the team or not. Should double check tho

Harmony TB was specially designed for Firefly, as both the community and devs agree they make one of if not the best couple pair in HSR.

Hello so if I don’t get ruan Mei and use pela, harmony mc, and Gallagher she’ll only be good for this patch and then the rest of the other patches she won’t be good? And I have boothill so maybe I should get RM and wait for fireflies next rerun?

Question, is 255% base break dmg(no buffs yet) good enough? I dont have Ruan Mei sooo I use Bronya to juice up her passive uhhh I get to 497% break dmg with buffs and all, is that good enough?
