Also makes sense when you consider that Firefly is noticeably bigger than her bespectacled twin. Firefly must be pretty 'old' by Knight standards, the other three being younger or more newly created.

I love this trailer so much (which also increase my love and care for Firefly) especially it has a lot of references that other anime or manga already made of like from Evangelion, Gundam, Kamen Rider and of course 86 which the story of 86 is pretty similar to what Firefly backstory is about.

One common misunderstanding that I also did for this trailer, the pilot for the big SAM suit the third one is actually a boy not a girl if you compare the va to the other languages Another hint that it’s a boy is the different uniform

If you don't know, all 3 of them are Japanese VAs from Evangelion (you can guess the last one yourself)

If you didn't notice all of them are clones. That's why they said "Everyone looks the same." 2:46. That is a nod to Rei Clones from Evangelion. The Suit and the SAMs is a nod to Evangelion plugsuit and Eva Units too.

What's sad is that SAMs are usually treated as something inhuman, even though they are artificial humans made specifically for war. This implies that they have never experienced living a normal human life outside of constant battles, which made them want to dream of living such a life.

You can see the difference between the SAM suits: the men's suits are larger and more robust and the women's suits are thinner.

everyone have short hair except firefly implying that people who wear the SAM suit live a short life due to them being deployed in a harsh battlefield and firefly having a long hair proves that she managed to survive all of those war.

I do still believe that the Frebass may be Kiana expy in the HSR verse but her and Firefly already have quite a lot resemblances to each other (not to mention 2.3 quest and bios). Starting with the most obvious, white long hair, combat suit, THE scene in the 2.3 trailer, and now after this animation we can kinda assume that all the Glamoths knights may be clones of each other (sorry im not sure If it known before im not into story leaks and didnt read the glamoth lore before). But yeah! I guess thats all for now that I can think of lol we'll see once 2.3 drops Have fun on your vacation kodla!

Just in case to clarify it was already said HSR and HI3 are in the same universe. HSR just explore more planets and Welt said each planet has a chance you might meet people who look the same and have similar personalities to people you have meet on other planets. So characters in HSR aren’t limited to one expy remember Bronya already got 2 expy before version 2 update.
