The trick with the Herta barrels is Sampo's technique, if you have him. I could never finish it until I learned that.

@@JohnSheppard-sampo's technique never works for me after version 1.4, it worked fine in 1.3 but then just went poof after that. And no I did not miss, I even stood there checking and saw the flash explode, but nothing happened. So I had to resort to kafka and asta ever since, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't

The messenger set is good to give her more speed than FF on the first turn to give her the buffs but missing the LC will make you need more BE from relics so any BE set can be good even if it is 2 different sets.
