I have 32 gigs of RAM. They can use up all the RAM if that means they work smoother. btw Firefox surpassed Chrome in Speedometer this year.

There's a problem with your RAM consumption benchmark : you uses a single tab and didn't reduce available system memory. Firefox will use as much RAM as it can get, but if there's no RAM free it won't mind. Chrome does require a lot of RAM, period.

I use both: firefox at home and chrome at school. There's not much of a choice at school, but if there were, I'd go with Firefox 100%. It's so much cleaner and smoother. There's little comparison when it comes to convenience.

Dont switch, run them all. Comes in handy for when you have different use cases, different logins to the same cloud, etc.

One question, if I activate the function of disabling ads in Firefox, will the content producers still get paid? (Like watching ads on KZfaq)

Usually the way channels get paid is by you viewing the ads so no they won’t get paid, but if you are worried about them getting paid you can always donate to there channel through either there patreon if they have one or by using any links they have or just get KZfaq premium and then you’ll never see ads and they get paid regardless. But honestly using an Adblocker is still advisable due to it preventing potential links that one shouldn’t be clicking regardless due to potential fishing or malware or just trying to get your information.

Chromium is making it so extensions cannot access their API anymore meaning that there will be no more add block on chrome or any other chromium browsers everyone move to Firefox!
