+Regal7063 I agree totally. If you like Masonry videos and ideas check out my channel I uploaded a few videos of a house I did w/my mobile phone, so it pales in comparison to this but I like criticism. It's definitely not really intended for an advertisement but still is some nice work- I think

Nice work! I like how you mixed up the brick w/some limestone it makes it look more rich. When your a good mason laying brick, block, or stone is the easy part. MAKING THE MUD AND DIGGING FOUNDATIONS-FOOTINGS IS THE HARD PART LOL. THAT AND FINDING SOME SHADE! Wow Southfield, I'm in Clinton Twp. Yo can check out some of my work on my channel. But I mainly do Houses.

I have a mud stand if you need to borrow it, between the rubbermaid container and being bent over for the last five feet makes my back ache...turned out awesome tho man, thats one hell of a foundation, wow.

the worst thing you want to hear ,homeowner says was thinking of putting it over here were this cliff is at ,good job man you stayed on it ,the money will be gone but the master piece remains, like all of our work

The outside dimension overall is 5 ' - 8 " . The firebox opening is 42 "

How long did that take?

The total time from start to finish was about 90 hours. This included the footings for the retaining wall, construction of the retaining wall,fireplace foundation, building of the fireplace itself and the exposed aggregate patio.

I agree with you about the music. I usually just mute my speakers when the music is bad. Maybe I will put a different track on when I don't have anything else to do .....
