I expected thousands of comments on this video. Seeing there’s only four is revealing in itself. There is great opportunity in usability in many things and at a deep level. Thanks for hosting this, incredibly valuable.

Thank you. If i want to learn ux/ui design now should i learn old tools?old methods? learn to design for screens (if there will be AR reality) . Or should i learn AI tools for interfaces and how do research with Ai? I am confused 😢

Love this! Jakob Nielsen predicts optimistic growth in the field of UX, anticipating a whopping 6 million new UX jobs over the next decade (1:03:20). As a design mentor, I am often asked if the market is oversaturated, and this fills me with so much confidence. This growth is global, not just U.S. or tech-centric but is infiltrating various industries, dispelling concerns and emphasizing an era of substantial opportunity.
On top of that fantastic news, Nielsen's enduring confidence in the fact that the Ten Heuristics have held true after 30 years is noteworthy. I find them valid and relevant every day!

Who came up with the first "10 heuristics" list? Jacob Nielsen or Susan Weinschenk?
