Seeing those saws on top of that load reminds me why I always run a rope through all my handles to tie them on. I like you love my vintage saws they all mean to much to me too risk loosing. One of my favorites is my late dad's old homelite xl12, not worth much money but loaded with fond memories of cutting wood with him. Love those old McCullough, homelite, Husqvarna, and dolmar saws.

Nice work showing how to roll that log out with the rope choker, almost the same technique as rolling heavy logs up the ramps onto my sawmill, or flipping them if a cant hook wont do it. The Mac 10-10 runs like an old 12 valve Cummins, lugs down and keeps on pullin!

Morning to ya Buckin. Picked up an old 10-10 for not much money the other day. Never would have thought to until I found this channel. Anyway, blew out the built up sawdust and oil caked everywhere and had it running after 4 pulls. Nice saw and she rips. Threw a file to it, tuned it up a bit and it cuts as well as my 1 year old CS590. She barks though. The whole neighborhood knows when I am playing around. Hehe. Anyways, thanks for spreading the word. Be good.

I love my Echo Timberwolf, very impressed by the saw and quality. I runs beautifully and has great torque. The Japanese make a quality saw, for sure. I picked mine up on ebay for $335 last June, brand new out of the box! I got very lucky with that price.

Hi Buckin your the Governor! No bullshit old school passionate timber man and very funny too! Came across you a couple of years ago when I got my mother in laws Mac super pro 81 24 in bar going which had been stood for about 30 years. Needed it for a job didn't think it would start (fired even with the old petrol in it!) Put fresh petrol in sharpened it and then gave it a go in some Oak. Must admit I didn't expect it to be much cop. HOW WRONG I WAS! I was blown away by its power, no matter how hard you dogged it in it just kept going. Decided to find out more about Mac saws which is how I came across you.I have 2 Dolmar 153's a Dolmar 133 and a 254xp as you know all great saws, and no light weights when it comes to cutting. I love getting the 81 out as every one takes a look at and think it's going to be a joke,? They all go quite! And Deaf! It is a great great saw and as you say very light even by todays standards. Love your channel and your braces that my wife got me for my birthday. Regards Adrian
