Fireworks were thrown at us while trying to save a lonely kitten who was crying for help 😿

Жыл бұрынThe last thing Loreta Frankonyte and I expected while working to rescue the little Gremlin is to have fireworks thrown at us. This was not the first time for us, so we continued as if nothing happened. The first attempt took over 8 hours, and we were unsuccessful, so we returned early the following morning to finish the job with a new rescue trick that would help us save many more lives!

A neighbor’s cat had crawled into a tunnel not much bigger than this…it was about 150’ So he being elderly stayed at on end and I crawled through the other. The cat wouldn’t go to him…so I finally got him and crawled to the other end! It was the best rescue I’ve done recently! You guys were smarter than me…the way you achieved your rescue! I didn’t have a trap or other tools! You guys rock! Thanks for being so kind! He’s beautiful and you two are proof that Angels Walk The Earth!

I despise fireworks for the noise that frightens animals and PTST people and the mess that nobody ever cleans up. The vent cleaner is a genius new addition to the HFP trick kit! That poor kitten was done being in the pipes and having roaches for food. THANK you for saving Gremlin!! So stoked hims got adopted!!

Lost in those pipes, Gremlin's fate would have been different once he lost the energy to meow for help. Thanks, Eldad and Loreta, for your timely and skillful rescue. Gremlin's possum-like pose is really cute. Hope he and his friends will be in their loving homes soon.

I have lived with cats all my 69 years, so I know them well. He was in so much distress. Hearing his pitiful cry was painful. I am so glad that hope for paws got him.

This kitten is marked exactly like my adopted cat who passed at age 20. She grew to look like a long haired Siamese. The vet said she appeared to be a Rag Doll which I had never heard of. She was absolutely beautiful and extremely smart. If I sent you a kitten picture you would think it was this kitten.

Incredible job rescuing this cat. Very smart move to replicate the meow sound for the cat, and to place cell phone with recorded meow sound just outside the tunnel. Kudos 👍. Some people need a real wake up call that all animals including our domestic pets are sentient beings aka. Earthlings. It’s karma. Someday those same heartless individuals could experience health benefits I.e., lowered blood pressure from the affection of a cat.

Wow, they're all so precious. Can't believe she didn't fall for the tuna or sardines but she was apparently frightened by something so terrible she'd rather stay in there, maybe that wasn't the first time for the fireworks. Eldad the area you all were in had been horrible for fireworks and idiots. Our community calls 911 every night. They sound like explosives more than fireworks. People have lost their dogs over this. We'll keep calling-- you keep rescuing! Great job❤
