If you are racing you dont need all the fancy lights and styles.. all you need is the numbers (the car was made for racing, not luxury).. no other distractions are needed, so the dash can be made as plain as possible.. they also try to cut down on weight in every way they can. So there is no need for a huge dashboard made from leather and all sorts of other stuff.

The only caveat would be for cars with such a quick rev that the analog Tech couldn't keep up. I guess in that case you have to have a digital analog display, which would defeat the purpose but would still look better.

It's not a "hypercar." It's a race car. It's not street legal. Supercars are made for the road and are road legal. It's easy to say stuff like that, but you need a road car to be tolerable and driveable on the road. If you want a race car, buy a race car. They exist. Pretty simple.

Everyone in the comments complaining, this is a RACE car, it's not meant to be fancy or overly simple to start. This makes sure you have full control of every system immediately while being as light as possible

@@DSCMBOBULTD Start up is slow, but every single system can be controlled on a switch with no delay. Start up time has never mattered in racing outside of very specific circumstances

The Rev counter in the center of the steering wheel is cool. I’ve never seen that before. I remember when Ludacris had the late 90’s Chevy Impala and it had a TV screen where the airbag would be in the steering wheel and I thought that was cool back then. The Porsche that drove by at the end of the clip was NICE.

Sounds like if I tried starting an old Ford i found in the forest in the middle of the winter after 30 years of just laying there, AND if the engine was full of water and small rocks(but its a very cool car ofc)

It did. Redline is at 10k, so it’s a long tachometer. However, because they put it over the airbag(?!?) it’s tiny. The second click is 4K rpm. He got up to maybe 2k, but it did move. Just not a lot
