I have a Huawei P30 Pro and its a great looking phone, I chose it over the S10 Plus because the P30 pro has a infrared sensor which is handy when I can't find the remote to my TV or sound system and the camera is brilliant.

Have just got my P30 Pro today and looking for any set up help. Your video was very useful but you speak so fast and your hand movements are so fast, I can't keep up with you! Your actions are for somebody who knows the phone very well already. Can you just slow it down a bit for us first timers who haven't got a clue where anything is? These videos are always so helpful and informative.

I like the pace, fast and to the point. No wasted time to artificially extend the video. Nicely done. For those struggling to keep up with him; it's not perfect but try setting the play back speed to 0.75. It's actually not too bad in quality and you may find to easier to understand.

The main thing I always do when poking around a phone is; once I have checked out all the apps, I disable as many as I can. Either dragging an app out of the app drawer or long pressing on it, one of those gives you the link to *app info*. From there, some apps that can't be uninstalled can be disabled. I've disabled messaging apps, proprietary media apps, and others. I've even disabled the google app recently because I use Firefox to search the web instead. Disabling is temporary, it rolls the app back to the oldest version, and prevents it from running. It's an easy way to save space and battery.

Just got a P30 Pro after years of being an HTC user. All I can say is regardless of the row with Trump, if you're in the market for a flagship type phone you'll love these. The camera is absolutely amazing

Tips were useful - am slowly getting used to my P30 Pro - gutted that they have their own different sized memory card - thought I was being clever backing my old phone onto its' scandisk ultra for just transferring it to the Pro....

Hey. Thanks for the tips. But I wanted to ask something about your camera and settings you are recording with. It naver happened to me when I usually record videos of the phones but P30 Pro's display was kinda out of control of me. I was using 6D Mark II but with various settings I the flickering on the phones display didn't go away. I watched a couple of P30 Pro videos and many of them had more or less flickering. Yours is the one among with no flicker. So I thought if you could hint about your camera setup. Thanks

Great video i got this phone two days ago i love everything about it but the autocorrection and the prediction isn't the best

picked up p30 today, battery life is decent with AOD turned on. no notification light so have to live with that. speakers are good, screen is good. camera is so and so in night shots. Software still a bit boring. but I guess worth the price in the end. gotta give it a shot for a year

Hi can you please advice us on how to close apps? just recently got this phone trying out the swipe option than the 3 gesture.thankyoi for this video I'm going to have to go through it slowly as moved from Sony to Hawaii. What I usually try and do is get the developer options in system settings as I like black and white mode to save battery when camping i haven't done this yet as only got it out of the box today.thankyou for any information on these subjects.ive press like and subscribe and hopefully sort the basics out.

I got my p30 yesterday and found this helpfull video. I got only one question, when I change dark theme on settings, my Google i on on home Page is black (your's white) how to change it to white (with dark theme)?

Just switched to P30 pro. I have only 1 problem with it. I would love if it has more than one speaker. Its wired hearing the sound only from one direction. Also sometime I block the speaker with my finger while playing games. However I love this phone (comeing from 9 years of iPhone user and i dont think i will go back).

Hello I need help for my mother who leaves away and just bought this phone, she want the screen to stay on longer than 5s.

I use Nova Launcher and I was able to closely clone my screen layout

buy a case, get rid of swipe and use the classic 3 key navigation as when you swipe to go back a page you end up doing other things like making the screen smaller or in photo mode when you swipe to go back it takes a photo or some other annoying thing you didn't want it to do...

My Best phone still have it in 2023 really Huawei p 30 pro the magic phone I wish USA could allow Google back on it.

PAL video settings. UK power grid runs at 50Hz, need to set the video to 25 or 50 fps, otherwise you get light strobing effects on video. How do you set the PAL video setting -the P30 pro seems only to allow 30FPS or 24, which doesn't help!
