Hi Brad, thanks for sharing the video. I have the 865 2021 and I will really like to see how the truma works, mainly for the heating side, no more propane is need it, but will that work without 120V ? Also did they make a better design with the dinatte table ? Can that not fit and turn to a bed or will need to carry a separate fitter?

855s, 960, 975, 1062, & 1172 are all the generator ready models. Would be neat if they’d make it and option for the smaller campers as well, most of my customers who buy these end up having to go grab a portable genny. Yeah, what’s up with no blu ray? Lol

This is amazing. I have a Cirrus 620 and this would be my next upgrade for my 2018 F250 with a 3170 lb payload.. One thing: Did you expand the rear awning? I wanted to see it :) Also, Is the solar stuff managed by a Victron 75/15? Thanks Brad. Nice review.

Awesome video, it’s a bummer they cheeped out on the rollout racks. In the bed, the TV looks cheaply put together, with the wiring harness sticking 10 inches above the TV.

I don't' know if it's a growing trend or not, but I've been seeing the truck campers being installed on heavy-duty trailers so they can be towed. If the trailer can handle it, is it recommended or not? Issues? Hope all is good man. Cheers.

If you go that route, you have to do it right and distribute the weight correctly, load correctly, most likely remove jacks so it can sit on the belly, and cross your fingers it does not move (even ratcheted down). We personally, will never load one for a customer again, the last one was nearly a disaster lol

I don't really get it. It's way smaller than the Arctic Fox 865, there's not as much storage as the Arctic Fox 865 and then lastly, there's that price. It's $20,000 more than the Arctic Fox 865. No, I don't think so. Yes, it's pretty and maybe once they've work out all the bugs for that very expensive heating system, in which this be honest, they haven't yet worked out all the bugs. On paper, it just doesn't make any sense. I say buyer beware, sorry just being very honest. I love you channel and I do love Lance campers but this one, not so much. And yes Sir, I am the proud owner of a Arctic Fox 865.

No I don't sell for another dealer, I just know what I got. I made a lot of mistakes buying Truck Campers. Name it, I probably had it. My 53yrs old, this ain't my first rodeo. So yeah, I may be biased when it comes to Arctic Fox, but I'm extremely honest when it comes to what works. During that arctic winter blast that hit the USA, we were traveling through Wisconsin in -35° weather, not one single problem. Not a frozen water line, it was pretty uneventful and we stade worm and toasty, honestly, not one issue. So am I buy assist, absolutely. Arctic Fox performs, they are truly a four-season camper. There's no bugs to work out, it just honestly works.

Your “extreme honesty” is still, only your very biased opinion. I could say the Lance 975 is the greatest of all time because I owned one and yet it would still be my opinion. What made my Lance not true four seasons? I used it in below freezing conditions and never had freezing lines? I don’t understand your “buyer beware” comment either with no information going further into your assumptions. Also, you haven’t priced a Arctic Fox 865 recently with options apples to apples, there is not a $20k price gap and for that I’ll have to disregard everything else you claim. Good day 👍🏼

I just bought this 865 that Brad showcased and I can tell you that I spent nearly two years comparing so many different truck campers and when it came down to it, it was between the Arctic Fox and the Lance. However, I have seen the quality in the Arctic Fox campers and they are nice, but I believe Lance beats AF hands down. No "cheap" feel to the cabinets and walls like I experienced in the AF. Don't get me wrong, I really did like the AF but when it came down to quality for the price, I kept coming back to Lance!!

Wondering if a person can sit upright on the bed without touching the head on the roof?

You can sit upright in the bed, however depending on how tall you are, you may have to lower your head a bit. I just picked up this 865 and I'm about 5'8;" when I sit up, I have to lower my head. If you get a thicker mattress or the Froli system, I'm sure it will be even worse! :(
