Golf is a world full of firsts, here's a film about a first time of mine I'd like to share with you

I love all these wide shots you're choosing to film yourself playing. Not typical for golfers filming themselves but it's really pleasant to watch. Like 2:19. That's definitely a unique decision to go stick your tripod in the tall grass before your tee shot, but it looks beautiful! Also really appreciate the subject. My first "destination golf" as a new golfer was a course that was only about an hour away, but I remember being so nervous to go by myself! But it was a special round that I'll remember probably forever.

Appreciate you stopping by and thank you for the kind words! Always conscious setting up in the long grass with all the snakes around here, but glad some of it paid off with kind comments like yours! Thanks for sharing your first destination, playing solo or away from your usual group can always be daunting (and especially as a new golfer), but glad to hear it was a special round to you that'll stick with you for lifetime! Out of curiosity, what course was it?

@@soliddoublebogeys The course was Blue Rock Springs in Vallejo, California. The east course. It was very difficult; I completely struggled with all of the elevation changes, but the back nine is at the top of the hills and on a clear day you can see for miles down towards Vallejo and it makes the struggle worth it.

Thank you! You absolutely should, I think its extremely unique setting wise in our Victorian Golfing landscape, might be a bit of a track from down Lang Lang way though!

Thanks mate! For this one I used a Panasonic Lumix LX10, mixed in with some shots from my Pixel 6

@@soliddoublebogeys sweet mate. Thankyou. I am using a Pixel 7. Pretty good quality for a phone. No idea what to get if I eventually buy a camera. Thankyou

@@hacker2par14 Your footage looks great, don't reckon you'll need to swap anytime soon! I started using the Lumix because I had it lying around the house. One thing to consider if you do decide to get a camera would be how quickly does it take to turn on, autofocus and start shooting. The LX10 is a bit fidgety in that department compared to shooting on the Pixel!
