IDK if you knew this, but KN-COB-IC and KN-COP-IC units are capable of sounding Code 3 if a smoke alarm connected to it goes off. The COP will also scroll "FIRE" on the LCD.

that's so cool. How did you manage to get some detectors connected that aren't actually connectable? especially the first Alerts in connectable. And also you're very lucky because you have that first alert with a low pitch horn which I would love to get but unfortunately I don't think they make that anymore.

Dude, I wish I had that one with the lowhorn. I’ve always wanted one like that. At my other question is how did you get your kid alarms to react with your first aware alarms? And I mean your one first solar alarm is not a one link? What did you do there? Because I would love it if there was a way I could make mine go off like that. Like if it was an actual alarm, but without having to use any smoke.

Hmm... if you get a CO511, do you think you could link it into the SA520 to see if it can receive a Smoke Alarm signal when an SA520 receives a Smoke signal from another interconnected alarm?

Anyone ran into a scenario where the beeping is coming from the ceiling and not the detector itself? I replaced my detector with a new one hoping it stops the 5 beeps but to no avail. Anyone?
